How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is important before you start betting. Learn it in plain language.
Decimal Odds
Most online betting sites in Bangladesh use the decimal format. The calculation is straightforward:
Example:
৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900If you bet ৳500, you get back a total of ৳900 (including ৳400 profit).
Formula: Total Return = Stake × Odds Value
Implied Probability
Odds also tell you the probability of an event happening. The lower the odds, the higher the probability (according to the bookmaker).
Odds of 1.80 mean the implied probability is around 56%. If you think the probability is higher than that, it's a good bet.
Other Formats (in brief)
| Format | Example | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Fractional | 4/5 | 4 profit on a 5 stake |
| American | -125 | 100 profit on a 125 stake |
| Decimal | 1.80 | 180 returned on 100 |
Understanding Odds in Cricket Betting
In a Bangladesh vs India match, if Bangladesh's odds are 2.50, a ৳500 bet would return ৳1,250 if they win. That's how decimal odds work in simple terms.
Match winner, top batsman, highest over runs — r5555 offers betting on various cricket markets. Each market displays its own separate odds.
Cashback & Rebate — VIP Program
The more you play at r5555, the higher your VIP level and the more your weekly cashback increases.
| VIP Level | Weekly Cashback | Feature |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | Up to 0.3% | Entry level |
| Silver | Up to 0.6% | Enhanced benefits |
| Gold | Up to 0.9% | Premium service |
| Platinum | Up to 1.2% | Exclusive benefits |
How does cashback work?
Cashback is calculated each week based on your betting activity and credited directly to your account.
Three simple conditions:
- Cashback applies only to net losses — no cashback in a winning week.
- The weekly calculation cuts off at midnight Bangladesh time (BST, UTC+6) every Monday.
- Moving to a higher VIP level depends on your overall gaming history.
Cashback is credited automatically every week — no separate claim needed. Platinum members also receive a dedicated account manager.
Bonus Terms in Plain Language
Nothing hidden in the fine print — get a clear view of r5555's bonus rules.
| Bonus Type | Amount | Wagering Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Welcome Bonus (first deposit) | 120%, up to ৳15,000 | 25x on the bonus |
| VIP Weekly Cashback | 0.3% – 1.2% (depending on level) | No wagering requirement |
Key conditions in simple terms:
Wagering Requirement: You need to place a set amount in bets before you can withdraw the bonus. Withdrawal is available once the requirement is met.
Game Contribution: Not all games count equally toward wagering — slots generally contribute more, table games less.
Maximum Bet While Bonus Is Active: A maximum bet limit applies per wager when a bonus is active. Exceeding it may result in the bonus being cancelled.
Bonus Expiry: Each bonus has an expiry date — if the wagering requirement is not met within the set time, the bonus is cancelled.
Maximum Cashout: A maximum withdrawal limit may apply to winnings from a bonus. Your deposited funds can always be withdrawn in full.
Worked Example
You deposit ৳1,000.
120% bonus: you receive ৳1,200.
Total balance: ৳2,200
Wagering: ৳1,200 × 25 = ৳30,000 in bets required
Important: the wagering requirement applies only to the bonus amount — not to your deposit.
